Etto founders Dave & Stephane share a love of Italy and Italian food.
On trips to Italy over the years we’ve been captivated and charmed by the al fresco eating on the streets of every city and town – from the buzzing piazzas of Rome, Florence and Milan to the local trattorias of every small town where lunch and dinner is served on plastic tables with a cheeky red wine in matching plastic cups.

We fell in love with the Italian street food experience which is so
different to anything in Australia, and we wanted to bring a little of it back home. We asked ourselves; ‘Why shouldn’t you be able to get the goodness of a home cooked meal with the flavours of an Italian trattoria for the price and convenience of a burger?’

Our experiences in Italy of food and sharing the joy of eating with the
locals has greatly influenced the style of our food and the way we cook and share it with our customers. Etto is all about fresh ingredients and simple flavours for healthy appetites, cooked by people who love to share their passion for pasta and the spirit of Italy. We want people to feel they can drop in anytime for a plate of pasta and a glass of wine.
